Meeting Scotland

This project was originally meeting Scotland, but has now been scaled down to meeting Glasgow (or any other city/town).
The premise is very simple. Find and introduce yourself to every person in the city. A time scale for this project is too hard to imagine, as the rate of meeting people would be immense at first, simply by standing on main shopping streets and stopping people. But after this, door to door introductions would be needed, and then would come the doubly tricky part of meeting famous/'important' people within the city.

What's the point of all this? It has to do with the notions of becoming famous, something art and artists are inherently connected to. It is a alternate model for becoming famous, a more human way, as opposed to using the traditional routes of mass media.

It's also a good project to complete if you only have a certain period of time to live. Or, if you are doing an artist residency in a smallish town. Same thing really...
