Spice World

This is a three part work, which would work best when repeated in different countries.

The three parts are a book, a video and a performance.

The starting point for all three of these works would be flyering / postering for people who either have photos of themselves dressed as spice girls for previous fancy dress parties, or would be interested in joining a spice girls tribute band.

The book is simply a record of the collected photographs, arranged under the pseudo names of the five spice girls; Scary, Sporty, Posh, Ginger and Baby. A photograph of the person outside of fancy dress may also be included.

The video would be made from the auditions for people to join the spice girls tribute band. Again, the video clips would be organized into the five categories as before.

The performance would be a concert by the Spice girls tribute band within the gallery.
